ok so over the christmas/news years break i took a break from the computer. i think i was maybe on my laptop long enough to set my fantasy basketball roster and make a trade for carmello anthony. (which will help me out big time)

christmas was great!! hunter, who will be 2 in feb, got a drum set which he has beat on endlessly since christmas morning. once he laid eyes on that he wanted nothing to do with any of his other presents. i got a wii (which is really unbelievable). and i was brave enough to buy my wife shoes and clothes and install her a new radio in her car. all in all it was a GREAT christmas in the rearden house.

new years was celebrated at the church and with the youth and it was a stressful and tiring experience but much fun was had by all. it started at 11am on the 31st with balloons and air compressors and except for an hour where i went home to shower and change ended at 8:30am on the 1st with a kid trying to call to get his parents up to come get him. our new years service was a huge success with approx 1,500 people at the service which was going on in 2 places simulcast back and forth bewteen the gym and sanctuary. after the service and after party we took the youth bowling til about 4 in the morning came back to the gym for a dodgeball tourney and ended the morning with a movie and krispy kreme doughnuts. can you say red bull.

2007 was a unbelievable year of stretching and growth for me personally. i am so excited for 2008 i know God has amazing things in store for this year and i can’t wait to see what happens.
